I’m a Ph.D. student with Perceptica Robotics in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at NUS, advised by Dr. Rajat Talak and supported by the NUS Research Scholarship. My research focuses on 3D scene understanding, embodied decision-making, and reinforcement learning for reliable robot autonomy.

Previously, I earned a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from NUS, advised by Dr. Guillaume Sartoretti, and a bachelor’s degree from Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen. I also conducted research at A*STAR CFAR and MIT SMART.

I serve as a reviewer for IEEE ICRA, IEEE/RSJ IROS, IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters (RA-L), and the Conference on Robot Learning (CoRL).

I aim to build robots that can perceive, reason, and act reliably in real-world environments—and ultimately augment human work. I believe technology should first be warm.

Beyond research, I make music as “Siny” / “_siny” on RedNote, NetEase Music, and Douyin. 🎵
